Kim Kirkland, is a Maryland based author of three children’s stories, Mi Mi’s Mini Tea Party, Car Cars Go Zoom Zoom Zoom and Vitiligo Doesn’t Scare Me, along with several published poems, including, the highly recognize titled “Stop the Silence,” written for Sister’s Network Inc., a National Breast Cancer Awareness organization.

Her fourth project, a novel titled “The Princess Chair” is near to completion!

Kirkland is also member of several literary organizations, including the Society of Children’s Book Writers and Illustrators. Her goal in writing for children is to make reading enjoyable, and fun, while also learning valuable lessons.
